    Mower, furniture, tools, a trailer with no vehicle title. Description, serial if any, price, as-is, both sign.

    As-is

    Sold as-is, no warranty. Buyer inspected or declined inspection. Both sign.

    Fill the bill of sale for this item. Fill as-is. Fill the odometer page too, if it’s a motor vehicle.

    Print US Letter at 100%, headers off. Both of you sign. Each of you keeps a copy.

    If they paid cash, fill the cash receipt. Hand it over that day. Run the handoff checklist before they leave.

    Sign the title the way your state tells you. The buyer takes it to their DMV. Look that up — we won’t invent it.
